What needed
to change.
Footwear analysis is more than a score. Teams need to find the right shoe among many, work with its measurements, and know where each one sits in a review process that never stops moving.
02 / What changed

Shoe discovery slowed down as the catalog grew, and filters had to narrow a large set without a round trip for every keystroke.
Rework the explorer's filtering behavior against the existing data layer rather than introduce a search service for a catalog this size.
Discovery stayed responsive without a new piece of infrastructure to run.
Shoes awaiting review were invisible in a list that looked identical to reviewed ones.
Surface review state directly on the shoe in the explorer.
The queue became visible where the work already happens.
A product under active development still has to take framework and security upgrades.
Keep the frontend current as part of ongoing work rather than batching upgrades into a migration project.
Upgrades land in small reviewable pieces instead of one risky jump.

What the work
made possible.
Shoe discovery, test data, and review status live in one product, and the frontend keeps taking upgrades while the product grows. Contributions are product engineering within a team.
