Privacy.

What I collect, why, and what is yours to control.

Introduction
This policy explains how marquis.codes collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit the site.
What I collect
Personal details you choose to share: name, email, and anything you send in a message. Technical data your browser sends automatically: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, and referral source.
How I use it
To respond to you, maintain and improve the site, understand how it is used, and detect technical issues. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.
Site analytics
I use Vercel Web Analytics for traffic counts and PostHog to understand the path from a page visit to an inquiry. Analytics events do not include your name, email, message, or other form answers. PostHog session recording and automatic interaction capture are disabled. PostHog identifiers stay in memory rather than cookies or browser storage, so returning visits may count separately. Proposal pages are excluded, and tracking is skipped when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
Data security
Reasonable measures guard your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Data is retained for twelve months and anonymized where possible.
Your rights
You can access your data, correct it, request deletion, restrict processing, ask for portability, or withdraw consent at any time. Email me and I will handle it.
